2011 begins with distinction:
powder, design Kati Meyer-Brühl,
wins renowned design prize!
Kati Meyer-Brühl has won the “Good Design Award 2010” for her powder design – charismatic A-shaped curvaceous chairs and sofas.
This most prestigious and longest standing international design prize has now been awarded for the past 60 years by “The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design” in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The prize is awarded in line with the original Good Design Award criteria that, according to Eero Saarinen and Charles Eames, are based not only on function and aesthetics but also on contemporary, environmentally relevant aspects such as Green Design.
The curvaceous silhouettes of powder chairs and sofas crown any room - an enveloping dream to sit in, their clean cut armrests a striking statement on the part of the designer. Filigree seam details speak of polished finesse.
Allow yourself to be beguiled by prizewinning creation powder and other visionary lifestyle works from young designer Kati Meyer-Brühl!
Why not drop in on the brühl stand in Hall 11.1 (A010-020/B011-021) at imm cologne 2011 - from 18 – 23 January.
