The German Design Council nominates "easy pieces" and "powder" by Kati Meyer-Brühl for the 2012 German Design Prize
Once again, the German Design Council has nominated two creations by young designer Kati Meyer-Brühl for the Design Prize awarded by the Federal Republic of Germany in the "Product Design" category: newcomer sofa easy pieces and powder sofas and chairs.
Both creations express the versatile design spectrum of Kati Meyer-Brühl which ranges from architectonic clarity all the way to an elegant, organic and playful language of form.
Only products that have previously been awarded another national or international design prize and have proven marketable and progressive may participate in the German Design Prize competition. The aim is to promote innovative development in design.
Like all seating furniture from brühl, easy pieces and powder have also been produced with sustainability in mind and are based on the use of ecological materials.
